What this site stores
- No account, no cookies, no tracking. The school sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts, so there is nothing to consent to.
- Your progress stays on your device. Stars, tokens, your teacher, settings and where you stopped are saved in your browser's local storage (keys beginning
lwm-school-). They are never sent to us. Clear them with Settings, Reset, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. - Moving from the old address. The school used to live at londonwatchmaker.co.uk/school. When you open that address on the same device, your saved progress is passed to this site once, inside the part of the web address after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server.
- Server logs. Like any website, our server records basic technical request details (such as IP address, browser type and the page asked for) to keep the site running and secure.
- Pictures from our shop. Watch photos in the parts tray load from londonwatchmarket.co.uk, which receives the usual request details when your browser fetches them.
